I’d just like to say thank you to all the parents and their wonderful children. Despite the unique circumstances, it’s been a special year and one which I will not forget. They are a very harmonious class, keen to learn and always with smiles on their faces. I will miss them all a lot!
As parents, you have also been great. You have always been supportive of what we are trying to do at Rosendale and have encouraged your children as they have grown and developed. As we went into lockdown, I was a bit worried about the levels of engagement in home leaning but thanks to you, it has been fantastic. Many of the children will have flourished in other ways during this time and I’m sure you’ve enjoyed spending extra quality time with them and seeing first-hand what fantastic learners they are. Thank you also for the extremely generous gifts both at Christmas and last week. The voucher will go towards a piece of furniture for the new home and the rainbow will be proudly displayed in the planned summerhouse. And well done Ada for picking my favourite beer! 😀
I wish you all a fantastic break. Enjoy the time with the kids, rest up as much as possible and I am sure we will bump into each other in future years.
Last night I spent an enjoyable couple of hours going though all the photos I have taken of the class. Here are some of my favourites.
